Important Usage Notes (Before Operation)

• The AUTOOL SDT60 must be connected to a 12V DC battery to operate.

• For first-time use, fill the machine with 10–15 ml of testing oil. Do not exceed this amount.

• Slowly rotate the airflow regulator knob to open the air valve before starting the test.

• Testing liquid: Liquid paraffin or baby oil can be used.

• When refilling, it is recommended to add approximately 10 ml of fresh oil.

• Always drain remaining oil before adding new oil, and replace the testing oil regularly.

• During leak testing, keep the smoke output away from smoke-sensitive components.

• Do not operate the machine continuously for more than 8 minutes. Allow rest intervals between uses.

• The machine includes intelligent temperature protection and will automatically shut down if the internal temperature exceeds 75°C. Resume operation after it cools down.

• Some external parts may become hot during use; handle with care to avoid burns.

• This model operates only on 12V DC power.

How to Use the AUTOOL SDT60 Automotive Smoke Machine

Step 1:
For first-time use, add 10–15 ml of baby oil into the detector. Open the engine hood and place or hang the detector securely.

Step 2:
Disconnect the hose or pipeline that needs to be tested and connect it to the smoke outlet of the detector.

Step 3:
Connect the detector to a 12V DC battery, switch on the power, and allow the machine to begin operation.

Step 4:
Within approximately 30 seconds, smoke will fill the pipeline. Inspect for smoke leakage to identify leak points. Use a headlamp if needed for better visibility.
